What a beautiful weekend we just had.  Went back to a deerstand to remove the cover so that the critters don't chew it up for nesting materials this spring and along the trail I found some porky damage.  Seems like no matter how many you shoot there is always more that need shooting!
They stripped the bark off this tree top to bottom.  saw a few other tree's with damage also.


this is the blind I took the cover off for safe keeping.




Saturday was a beautiful day to be out in the woods.  We burned some stumps from a new foodplot.








And just enjoyed being out in MI's great outdoors on a sunny day.












Oh, and saw a couple deer on the foodplot behind the cabin too.





The cultipacker just waiting to be put to work this spring.


These deer were watching us when we were fishing the pond and they didn't leave untill we walked up to the cabin.





Heard some turkeys gobbling both mornings,  when we got there this was on the front porch



Turkey tracks and droppings on the porch, bet they don't try that during season!!
