Finally after hunting hard all seasons I was rewarded
with a nice little 9pt. Shot Saturday Dec. 12 with my Knight .45 cal muzzleloader

Nice job and congrats dooman. Where did you hit him and how far did he run? Feel like deer season with the cold temps and snow on the ground!!!!

I shot him right behind the front shoulder, it exited just behind the rib cage and he ran about 100yds straight toward my truck, but he still ended up 250yds
short of making it to my truck, lazy deer.

Very nice looking deer! Congrats!!
I'm gonna miss out on black powder season this year. Going to FLA to spend Christmas with the outlaws.......errr I mean in-laws.
