Hey Sal...how you doing? I have the Red Label in 12 ga. Good gun for the money. Not great, but good. My first choice was a Browning GTi but I was too late to
make the deal happen. The Ruger's trigger is stiff and can at times be unpredictable on the second shot. I had the trigger mechanism reworked ($80) and it
improved by 50% over original. Now it is more predictable but not perfect. I also had a nice recoil pad installed ($50) and that helps after shooting the first
hundred rounds or so. The balance is good, the wood is good, the hinging system is good (use a bit of Teflon grease before every use). You can add a set of
"mini-tubes" to shoot the sub-gauges (410, 28,20) for cheap money.
