20% Appin Forage Turnip

This particular turnip was chosen specifically with trophy whitetails in mind. Appin Forage Turnips is bred for heavy grazing and quick maturity (30-60 days). Its high leaf-to bulb ratio results in a very leafy crop with high digestibility. The tops on Appin have been tested as high as 30%+ crude protein.

40% Buck Forage Oats

Buck Forage Oats is extremely winter hardy, draught resistant, and designed to provide more tender type growth well into the winter freeze. Buck Forage Oats was selected for the Outfitters Choice Fall Blend because of its ability to serve as an excellent fall attractant, and has the nutritional value to keep and hold whitetails, even in the coldest climates. Buck Forage Oats also attracts whitetails in the plant's early growth stages. This makes the food plot huntable in the early stages of the hunting season.

40% Triticale (trit-ih-KAY-lee)

Triticale is a crop species resulting from plant breeder's cross between wheat and rye. The result is a plant that produces an abundance of forge, with the disease resistance of wheat, and the hardiness of rye. Triticale also grows in less than ideal growing conditions and boasts an excellent crude protein level.
