These are the beans we planted, growing in white beach-like sand. We had corn here last year and it did not grow very well, hopefully we get some rain and the beans will do better..

If you saw the shots of when we planted this field this spring, this is where I ran out of gas while cultipacking.

This is the road where the corn grew over our heads last year, planted it in beans and they seem to like it also.

This is the road that had winter wheat in it last fall, its planted up in corn now. The tower blind I hunt out of is behind the cedar on the left, in another shot you will see it from the other end of the road.

That white square is the tower blind I mentioned, it is 15 to the floor. this just gives you an idea how long the corn rows are, and they go even further but there is a big curve here so this is the last spot where I could get a pic of the blind.

All in all I think with some rain and warm weather this will all turn out to be some good food for the deer. Will post more pics the next time I go up and hopefully we will see some real growth.

Oh yeah, we also managed to go fishing!!!!
