Thinkin about investing in a fishing shanty. I have one I built a few years ago out of plywood and an old canvas army tarp, works great for getting out of
the wind, it goes up fast, and it blocks out the light so you can see down the hole. But it is bulky and doesnt pull very well for when we walk out.
So looking for a basic fishing shanty that will hold 2 guys and gear but I want to be able to fold it up and throw it in my truck, needs to be light enough I
can drag it by myself.
What do you guys think?

I have a Frabil XL twin which is a little heavy but is very comfy with bucket seats fishable all day. deep tub also to carrie equipment in works well. Lots
of models like this to pick from. Clam, Frabil, Otter, Otters are very nice but very pricy. fold up models are convenient for hand pulling usually have
bucket hole in plastic when folded but spill easy if hauled with four wheeler or snow machine. ususally dont last very long either. if you have a machine of
some sort to pull with i would recommend one of the clam, otter, or frabil.

It will be mostly hand pulled. Once in awhile we will take a 4 wheeler when we are going out on the bay but not until we have a foot or more of ice ussaly
more. I am content catching fishing in 4 foot of water a mile or so out. Some of my buddies push it mid season when it is cold cold and case walleyes out to
the edge of good ice.
Ill look at the Clams, thanks for the suggestion.

They are on craigslist everyday right now, usually pretty cheap.
