Anyone have a report on fishing in the Tawas area? I heard that people are fishing the mouth of the river and was wondering what they were after, Perch?
Walleye? Am going to be up there this weekend and would like to do some fishing so any reports, rumers would be appreciated.

fished a little at jerrys marina in tawas. smaller perch up to 10'' but a lot of small ones . 1 18'' walley and 1 21'' walley at about
3'-4' deep between the docks later in the evening you could watch a lot of both species on the bottom.

there was about 4-6 inches in the dock area of the marina in tawas
about the same on the tittabawassee backwaters havent been back on houghton lk since the warmup but there was about 5-7 inches korbinski marine already had their shanties on the ice lymans on the lake also had theirs out. going out today so i will let you guys know how i did |

Awesome. I will have the check out Saginaw Bay. My brother is coming home this weekend from Florida, we were hoping to do some fishing but I wasnt sure if the
ice would be good yet, I told him we might have to settle for river fishing. But with the way its been below freezing every day we migh get out on the bay for
some perch and walleye yet.

hey troy ill start taking pictures. went out last night on houghton lk only had about an hr to fish. went to a good summer spot accidently left vexilar home
and got to realize how easy it makes fishing. anyways didnt get to move around very much. no flags on tip ups and only had 1 fish on to big for my perch pole
lot of hammer handles in area or a decent size eye didnt get him in the hole. to windy today though or was going back out to good winter spot test proven last
year. gotta go for now see ya.
