Got this buck Thursday evening around 6:30 in Tawas, MI. Saw 4 bucks....2-6pointer's and 2 8-Pointer's.
I got him through both lungs and he ran about 35 yds or so and I heard him stop and crash a minute later. Walked over to where I heard the noise and there he laid.

Yes 2 1/2 year old. Going to shoot 2 bucks off my property this year and the next will have to be a Dandy before I pull the trigger during Rifle season. Going
to take 5 does off the property now and fill the freezer's. I have 160 acres and the buck to doe ratio is way out of whack...it is getting better but still
needs some work. Seeing alot of little bucks running around though and that is encouraging. Shooting 6-points or better at my camp and the neighbor's camp
and it is working to some degree.

good shot looks like, make sure and use your 4pt. or better lic on that one so you can still shoot a scrub if you need to ummmm fresh back straps

If you take the head to the DNR check station, they will age the deer for you and you will get a 2008 Deer Hunter Patch.
