yea im tellin ya this it killin me, I was out this morning looking for some does an here comes in a nice 8pt just prancing around almost knowing i couldnt
shoot him and to boot he was only 12 yards away. Then yesterday morning i seen a big doe that was 90 yards away but presented no shot.

Gonna be able to hunt back there! cant wait! Then headed to Houghton lake area weekend of the 4th to hunt some property that my sisters b/f has. Anyone from around that area? hows the hunting there? |

Just got in from setting up a new tree stand. I stuck my stand about 7 yards into the woods, a ditch seperates my stand from a field of grass, made a mock
scrape on the edge of the scrub growing up along the ditch. Same area I saw those 2 bucks last night, see http://moabhunting.yuku.com/topic/4520. Hopefully it will work out and those bucks will come back opening day.
Picked up some new broadheads today also, Monotec 100gr, they fly to the same aim point as my fieldpoints. Good Luck everyone, whats the weather going to be like on the opener?
