What is a good game cam that has fast trigger speed and takes good pic's in the night hours? Battery life is a factor also.

I can only speak for the Moultrie game cam that I have. It is going on 3 years old and works well in all weather conditions. From 100* to the coldest I ever
took pictures was -14*. The only item that in my opinion needed help was the selector swith that turns on the aiming laser and then slides over to the camera
mode. The "clicks" between on/off could be a bit more positive as I have inadvertently switched it on when I meant to shut it off. I use rechargeable
ni-cads and it has gone 4 weeks between chargings. I believe the model I have is a 4 megapixel with an optional SD card slot. There may be an optional solar
battery array for this one as well. It was a gift from my wife, not exactly sure what it cost her back then. I am sure the prices have come down and megapixel
quality has gone up since then. Night flash is good out to an honest 60' and you can see eyes and silhouettes out to 100'. When snow is on the ground
that improves dramatically. Hope this helps.
