How are you guys bow hunting this year.I like ladder stands.They are easy to hang and move around.I am going to try a ground blind in a thicket just outside a
bedding area this year on my capac farm.Anybody hunt from ground blind any pros and cons to it any info will help.

I hunted from a ground blind last year when I took my nephew out. We were in a 2 man tree stand but wanted to try another area. The ground blind worked great
we had a doe come within 10 feet from us. He blew the shot but, it was a great experience. The only downside is the visibility you lose by being on the ground.

I prefer somethin elevated for scent and visability reasons, im sure many would agree.

Big city hick,I will be north of town on capac rd and norman rd big farm on south west corner of capac and norman across from sod farm.I will be out there sunday the 4th and around noon will be up at good time charlies for lunch if you are around stop in the bar for lunch. |
