I seen a good urban 8pt in Rochester Hills.Could go 130+ by the time august rolls around.Then again velvet makes antlers look big.There was no mistake he was
a mature deer.He was with 2 other smaller bucks that had skinny bodies and just had short main beams.Close to 90 more days till bow madness..

Buck w/ fawns | #3 | ||

I also saw a nice mature buck in Rochester Hills. The crazy part is he had 2 fawns with him. I tried taking a pic w/ my camera phone but wasnt successful.
My buddy that was with me got a picture, maybe I will see if he can email it to me and I'll post it.

I have been seeing on average 5 to 10 a night.I work in Alpena and live in Curran about an hour drive.I see them on the side of the roads and they are not the
same ones.I do have 2 down the road from me that are gonna be some monsters.1 is already a large 8 and the other is a nice 8.The ones in my hunting area that I
have been seeing are small but still time to grow.

I hunt St. Charles and haven't had the oppurtunity to get out and do some scouting. I bought a game cam last year and boy was it great. Can't wait to
set it up. I'll post some of the pics and show you guys whats on em. Last year I got some great pics of bucks that I'm hoping to get this year as well.
A couple of them are unmistakeable. Only 78 days left....remember those doe permits tomorrow!

Troy, I saw a real nice ten point over by Waterman and Ash Roads; he was with a 4pt. and a tall, skinny 6pt. Last year I watched an 11pt that would have
scored in the 160's just past Waterman on Sheridan road. If he made it, he'll be ungodly this year.

Nice rack at 36 mile and VanDyke | #11 | ||
|
While headed home yesterday I took the back country route from Lakeville, north then east past the Ford Motor proving grounds etc. Anyway just west of VanDyke
on about 36 mile a buck with at least 10 nice tines popped out alongside the road. I slowed down to about 5 mph and he kept pace for about 50 yards or so in
front of the truck. The rack was very full, but not as much size to the deer as I would expect. I would guess 150# give or take 10#. It was nice to see a
healthy buck who will be a most worthy adversary come hunting season.
