Heard some strange sounds in the woods across the street from my house this morning about 4 am. It sounded like two bucks clashing, but I KNOW that they are behaving like that right now, and even if they were, they don't have the hardware to make those sounds. But every time I heard the clashing, the dogs would start howling and my yellow lab even stiffened up like he was on point, AND HE NEVER DOES THAT(I haven't even trained him to do that)!!! Anybody ever experienced that or have a suggestion? Im in NC. (we really don't have any bears around to speak of and the clashing was crystal clear, not like any rustling or something)
