I blind call about every 15 minutes or so. Doesn't make sense you are seeing hens without toms. They should be close together. Unless the hens are coming off nests. Then the toms might not be around as much.

Went out today seen 4 turkeys, all hens can't put a beard on anyone. All the birds were close but didn't stop by the decoys, pretty boy and pretty girl and 2 rubber decoys. Can you call to much? how much is enough? Hens are coming without toms or jakes is this normal? not even hearing toms when I Call.

My wife shot her first bird yesterday. 20 lbs 10 ozs, 9" beard, 7/8" spurs. What a great hunt !!!

My turkey is no contest winner but I thought I would share it anyway.It is only about twelve pounds with about a 4" beard.With little to no time to hunt I wanted to get some meat in the freezer. It was shot in Romeo.( macomb county) The feathers on it are all messed up because the rain was coming down pretty hard.I'm glad I had a popup blind.
