March 20,2010 9am-4pm at the Hilton Inn,4747 28th Street SE, Grand Rapids, MI 49512 (Just off I-96)
This will be a BUY/SELL/TRADE show of antique and vintage archery items..bows..arrows..quivers..
catalogs..archery hunting licenses and tags..ect
8' tables are $20 or 3 for $50, the public is invited to bring items in with a $3 entry fee.
If tables sell fast I can expand another 1000 sq ft. Anyone interested in displaying items from 1960 there will be a display area with that theme.
I will have a group rate on rooms with shuttle service to the airport next week. Also shipping boxes for bows will be available.

Compass Outdoors is having a TIC TAC TOE Archery tourny on June 14th from 1-5 pm this is a 16 man bracket tourny we currently have 8 positions full so if you are interested please call Randy at 810 813 7799 to sign up. Hi from Compass Outdoors

Our 2nd annual william tell shoot will be held on May 2nd from 1-5pm. All are welcome to shoot and the cost is $20 or $10 with 5 canned goods which go to the local food pantry. This year the prizes are as follows:

1st- Muzzy prize pack including broadheads, camo hat, video, scent, koozie, sticker, and keychain compass.

2nd- 3 pack flashlight, tinks 69, scent bomb and drag kit

also door prizes will be given 2 for every 10 people that shoot.

Remember Compass is a non profit org. and all proceeds are used to keep us going.

Detroit Sportsman's Congress Open House 9/6/08

Detroit Sportsman's Congress is holding its first annual Open House. DSC is located at 49800 Dequindre Rd., Utica, Michigan. The open house is scheduled for Saturday Sept. 6th from 9 am till 4 pm. Archery, Skeet/Trap, Sporting Clays, Rifle, Pistol, Cowboy Action and camping are just some of the activities that our members enjoy. Talk with representatives from each venue to find out more. Come discover as I did, this sportsperson's jewell right in our own backyard. Hotdogs, pop, ice cream will be provided. Courtesy shuttle transportation will be provided between the venues.

Compass Outdoors in flint will be holding a cinderblock archery challenge september 7th from 1-5pm. The cost is $25 per person. please call randy @ 810 813 7799 for more information or see compassoutdoors.org The cinderblock challenge will be a undisclosed yardage shot under 20 yds at a hole in the cinder block wall. the starting hole 16" x 8" if you hit the wall or miss the wall you are out. after the first round the hole gets smaller and so on. will be a BLAST litterally. thanks for looking hope to see you there. 1st Annual Thumb Area Triple Crown

IBO Format with the following exceptions:
There will be no vane restrictions in the Hunter Class
Three Youth Classes will be added: Hunter Class 9-12( Cub), Hunter Class 13-14, and Hunter Class 15-17. These Classes shall abide by all Hunter Class equipment restrictions.
The HC9-12 will shoot from the white stakes and the HC13-14 and HC15-17 will shoot from the orange stakes.

All adult classes will be $20.00 with $8.00 going to prize fund at each leg and $2.00 going towards Grand Champion Fund. (All adult classes will be money classes).
All youth classes will be $10.00 with $2.00 going to plaque fund at each leg and $1.00 going towards Grand Champion plaque Fund.
There will be 4 legs to shoot (3 must be shot to qualify) and if all 4 are shot low score will be tossed.
